James Bruzzese, MD

Founder

Dr. James Bruzzese is a licensed internal medicine doctor, anesthesiologist and pain medicine fellow. He received his Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate from the accelerated, 7-year medical program of the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education/CUNY School of Medicine. He underwent internal medicine and anesthesiology training at NYU Langone Health, where he was also exposed to the Bellevue, Veteran’s Affairs (VA) and NYU Brooklyn hospital systems and their respective patient populations. Dr. Bruzzese is an ILADS member and trained with Dr. Richard Horowitz, Dr. Somer Delsignore, and John Fallon NP during his medical school and residency years. Dr. Bruzzese is excited to start a new medical practice in NYC treating Lyme and Tick-borne disease, bringing patients from all over the world much needed care.

Kristin DeNardo, FNP

Nurse Practitioner

Kristin is a Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from Long Island University. She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals living with Lyme disease and related health concerns.

Kristin takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to patient care. She recognizes that no two patients are alike and that each person’s health journey is different. She takes the time to listen, understand each patient’s concerns, and work with each patient to develop a plan of care that feels appropriate for their individual needs and goals. Kristin believes in caring for the whole person and building trusting relationships with her patients. Good healthcare starts with listening; she makes sure patients feel heard, respected, and are involved in decisions about their health.

Kristin understands that living with Lyme disease and related conditions can be challenging. She strives to create a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel safe discussing their concerns and confident in the care they receive. Kristin’s goal is to help each patient better understand their health, feel supported throughout their journey, and take an active role in their overall well-being.
